Attention MBs

A friend showed me a small set of four screens that has pictures of flowers and birds on one side and trees and mountains on the other side. each screen is 3-1/2" X 6-1/2"

I thought they might be Japanese shoji screens and sent the pictures off to a friend, Nobuko, who said she thought they were Chinese.

I think the Black symbol on each picture may be a description or caption of that scene. In addition there is a lighter red stamp on each, similiar to the stamps that the Japanese use on documents.

I sent some pictures off to Luther Deese, but have not received a reply from him.

Any ideas or constructive comments?
