Ice Pickles

When we were kids in Connecticut we used to look for good icicles to snap off wherever they might be hanging. If they were on a sugar maple tree they were really good. We called icicles "ice pickles."

This morning here in Central Florida the temperatures were just below the freezing mark. I neglected to turn the sprinkler system off and the result was that there were lots of icicles -- "Ice pickles."

Here are a few pictures. It was sure a lot different than last week when we were in Jamaica.
