Myrtle The Turtle

Yesterday morning one of the neighbors alerted us to the fact that "Myrtle" was wandering around looking for a place to lay her eggs. We see a turtle like this every year at this time wandering around looking for just the right place to make her deposit.

Often we see a raccoon or two hunting for the goodies after Myrtle has left the scene.

So, here she is looking for the best spot and later making her deposit.

We were fortunate to be able to catch it all on the digital camera.
