Thanksgiving 2007

We had family and friends in for the Thanksgiving meal. My brother Bruce and his wife Mae, friends Greg and Diana Szymaszek, who live in The Villages, and Jon and Shelia were here from Laurel, Maryland.

Shirley and Shelia did a lot of preparations on Wednesday. They fixed the make ahead potatoes, sweet potato casserole and some other things ahead.

We put the turkey in at around 11:30 and used a bag to cook the bird in. It cuts down the cooking time and the meat comes out really moist.

Dinner was in the late afternoon and we all had a great meal with wonderful friends.

The placemat is one of the ones that Shelia embroidered and quilted. Good work Shelia.
