Rain, Rain, Rain

Today my friend Harry and I were watching the approaching cold front on the computer and exchanging pictures.

The weather radio went off with an alert, but no warnings. Good thing.

When the rain started I took the camera and snapped a few pictures. When the rain came the street was almost completely flooded with rain water running down it.

The three photographs are one from each side of the house and one from the front.

In the summer we often get hard rain storms. Almost every afternoon. It has been very dry with little rain and every bit now is welcome. The rain gauge said 1-1/2 inches. We'll take it.
